Ro-Sham-Bo is open to all members, those with ToS background and those new to the concept. Our story isn't following that of the game or any game prior, in essence we are simple using the basis of the game -it's religions, races, surroundings, etc.- to create our own story. Going in hand with that canon characters of the game may (and probably will) not follow their path in the game. Though canon characters are acceptable we encourage original characters. If an original character has taken the role of a canon (which we are allowing) the person applying for the canon role will need to work something out between the Admin and the original.* So that said, without further ado, the plot.
In the world today things are in a state of constant push and pull. The legend is that thousands of years ago, during the Ancient Kharlan War, the Tree of Mana was destroyed thus leaving the world with a limited amount of mana and only by the sacrifice of the Chosen One can the world continue. So it is now that the world of Sylverant is entering it's most desperate stages of mana decline the Chosen’s journey begins, but success is not guaranteed as many things, even unseen forces stand in their way.
*I.E. You would like to play Yuan but the role of the Renegades leader has already been given to a Original we will work with you to see what we can do. The chances that Yuan will in the end have no part (or at least leadership part) in the Renegades is possible depending of the flexibility of the Original or maybe he will be revealed as the man pulling the strings. This is a fantasy RP based on Tales of Symphonia, anything can happen.
